This is a traditional form of psychological therapy, which is very efficient when it comes to dealing with issues such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, personal and/or family-related issues among others. In this form of therapy, the therapist will be working with you either through talk therapy, crisis management therapy, positive reinforcement therapy, analytical therapy, or hypno- and regression therapy. Most commonly though, a tailor made approach will be applied, using a combination of some or several of these methods. In addition, guided meditation and conscious awareness will be used to recall and unravel memories from the past that may be stuck in the subconscious. This means that they are out of reach from your conscious mind, and therefore much harder to understand and work with in traditional ways. Unraveling these hidden memories has a dramatic healing effect both on the physical and/or the psychological problems that have been bothering you. Individual Therapy may be For this kind of therapy, you will typically see your therapist about 15-20 sessions or longer.

Mindfulness Therapy

This form of therapy is used to help rid you of fears and phobias or help rid you of other fears such as fear of flying, of spiders or snakes, or other complaints such as claustrophobia. This kind of therapy is in most cases very efficient when it comes to curing headaches and migraines, helping you lose weight, managing stress, anxiety, and panic attacks. It is also a good tool for helping teenagers and young adults deal with exam nerves and self-esteem issues.

Typically this kind of therapy requires between 5-10 appointments to reach a good result, although this may vary from client to client. Sometimes you and your therapist will reach the conclusion that the cause of, for example, your claustrophobia, is some underlying trauma and in that case, your therapist may suggest that you should choose Talk Therapy instead, in order to reach a successful result.

At SOOL, we provide a kind, helpful, and non-judgmental atmosphere in which you may work through any relationship challenges you may be experiencing. We will begin by assisting you in identifying and clarifying the concerns or difficulties you are currently experiencing in your relationship or relationships. If couple counselling is the right course of action for both of you, you will begin a series of counselling sessions - typically between six and twelve sessions, although this will depend on the difficulties you choose to address. Both partners may not always share the same goals, and in order for counselling to be effective, we must agree on a therapeutic emphasis. Counselings may be the beginning of a prolonged journey of discovery for some couples, while for others, a few sessions may be sufficient to help them through a difficult period.

Typically, coaching focuses on the process of transformation.  The approach begins with an examination of the pressing issues, followed by assistance in overcoming developmental and situational obstacles. You will be assisted with physical, emotional, and mental health concerns and in resolving crises, alleviating discomfort, and enhancing your sense of well-being. When treatment is successful, it can alter how you think, feel, and behave, in response to a distressing event or scenario, making them much easier to deal and cope with.
